HyeJin Son

was born in Seoul, South Korea. 

She studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, specialized in Piano-Performance & Instrumental-Vocal-Pedagogy (along with Breathing-Bodymovement-Coaching), wherein she graduated with Honors. 

She was awarded several scholarships from Global Foundation and by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of Austria.

She has participated the International Summer Academies in Europe (with Dimitri Bashkirov, David Lively, Andrzej Jasinski, Friedrich Cerha, György Kurtág and Christian Ofenbauer) and in USA (with Herbert Stessin). 


She was part of the projects such as 150th celebration of Fanny Hensel-Mendelssohn’s death, Muzio Clementi 250th birthday and also the premiere of Friedrich Cerha entire 'Slovak Memories of Childhood'. 

She was invited by the Austrian Cultural Institute in Istanbul, turkey and performed at the consulate and at the prestigious Koc University.


Her desire to invest in the next generation was expressed through Family concerts at the museums in different districts in Vienna, Donauparks and at the Viennese Cityhall. 

With pedagogical Concerts on Mozart she was a part of the Festival ‚Wir Sind Wien‘ and at the Opening of the Festival she has appeared on ORF (Austrian Broadcast) "Seitenblicke". 

Through her musical activity diverse Charity Concerts for the Red Cross, Sterntalerhof and for Children Projects of EU and India took place.


In addition to concerts in Austria, she has performed in the United States, Turkey and South-Korea.  

Since 2012 she has developed another way of her artistic communication through Multimedia - Live Performances with her own music, Art-Objects, Musikvideo & LED-Art-Robot. She is a welcomed artist at events of Burning Man Austria, Mindburn Austria and has appeared at Streetlife Festival Vienna.
